My guess ITER could work, but in space. 
Unless you can create the conditions and mimic stellar fusion in super micro conditions it means harder to accomplish on Earth. Unless you can compress and implode fuel in space like a star then you must be star like? The other problem is high density beam tranfer of power to Earth-did someone mention how much this would all cost?? aww
