Oh well, So much attention in the space press & blogs was placed on 'business' space to adopt EELV back a year ago. Now based on the rumor mill the X34 skeleton of old wants to make a comeback.
Tend to think it was the only natural course since the USAF chose to be committed to the X37 it was only a matter of time before the civilian side would catch up and re-fashion the X34 L-1011 launch or rocket launch system or both. 
I guess this shows people need to realize there's a need for spaceplane RLV in commercial space like in gov't space. I guess Spaceship-one and Spacedev people are taking notes on possible opportunities in LEO RLV ops.
