Subject: Announcing completion and publication of Nuclear Shadowboxing

Announcing publication of Volume 2 of Nuclear Shadowboxing: Contemporary Threats from Cold War Weaponry.

Are you a (nuclear) history buff?  Then Volume 1: Cold War Redux might be for you.

If you have a strong interest in current (nuclear) events, then Volume 2: Legacies and Challengers will bring you up to date.

Two-Volume book, Nuclear Shadowboxing: Contemporary Threats from Cold War Weaponry,

authored by four scientists/engineers

-- Alexander DeVolpi, Vladimir E Minkov, Vadim A. Simonenko, and George S. Stanford --

from both sides of the former Iron Curtain.  It took 12 years from inception to organize, write, edit, proof, and publish these two volumes.

Volume 1 (Cold War Redux) is a history of nuclear weapons and their development during the Cold War (Published December 2004).

Volume 2 (Legacies and Challenges) discusses the consequences after the Cold War of many nations having inherited nuclear weapons, fissile material, and radioactive substances (Published August 2005).

Our web site www.NuclearShadowboxing.info has detailed information about the contents of the two volumes and about ordering copies.  (If you have direct contact with one of the co-authors, you might be able to purchase without incurring shipping and handling fees.)
