Nuclear Propulsion Historical Reference

I published this work in 1991 after over 1 year of full-time research for NASA.

It is online at:

http://ntrs.nasa.gov/archive/nasa/casi.ntrs.nasa.gov/19920005899_1992005899.pdf

It should be a good reference for those interested in nuclear propulsion.

Welcome aboard and thanks for the post.  I can remember reading about project Rover when I was a kid.  Too bad it was cancelled during the brain dead '70s!  Anyway that report is a nice piece of work.  We can sure use someone with your background on here.

Thanks very much for the link to the paper--and Welcome aboard, Jim! Project Rover and Project NERVA did some marvelous work--and the foundations they created will help boost us across the solar system one day.

I downloaded a copy of your paper, and after i get my daughter to school, I look forward to studying it!
